Playa del Carmen's artisan bread

Our bread is leavened exclusively with sourdough and is composed of the best Mexican flours. The long fermentation time naturally brings flavor and great preservability. This allows us to use only 3 ingredients. Flour, water and salt.

A natural bread

Bread is very simple food and it should be made in the most natural fashion possible: using very few ingredients but of the highest quality. For instance, we use unmodified organic sea salt in very controlled dosis. (1% of the final product)

The sourdough and artisan baking

Sourdough and its long leavening times bring a lot of benefits when it comes to nutrition. The enzymes and probiotics of the sourdough help digesting the gluten and the acidity makes the nutrients more readily available to the body.
